Tonight - June 19 - Time to celebrate Malediction Society's 6th anniversary at the Steampunk Ball, presented by LADEAD™: Los Angeles Darkside within the darkly elegant Monte Cristo in Los Angeles: 10:00 p.m. - 2:00 a.m. Six years ago on this very date, Malediction Society was born - as the very first steampunk club, wherein elegant Society Members were encouraged to embrace the anachronism of the Industrial Revolution. On this very special night, dance to the finest in darkwave, industrial, EBM, synthpop, elektro, noize, and aggrotech, played by DJ Xian and DJ Amanda Jones...See you there - in upscale attire in anachronistic hues of bronze...

Tomorrow, join Vagabondage, "Daddy Squeeze" Dan Newton, Ron Reich, and no fewer than 8 of the Babes from the 2011 Accordion Babes calendar for an afternoon of music at the Oyster Point Yacht Club.

Stick around after dark for the amazing documentary film Behind The Bellows, a riveting story of the rich history and making of the accordion by the Bay Area's own Steve Mobia.

Strowler Nights: Oct 30-31 2010; Seattle WA [Oct. 22nd, 2010|03:15 pm]

Wonderful new and exciting stuff is being added to the Strowler experience Halloween weekend!; Oct 30-31st 2010.

First of all, Studio Foglio (aka Professors Phil and Kaja Foglio of TPU) are going to be the special guests!  The Foglios are well known for their wonderful online gaslamp fantasy comic Girl Genius!)

Just as exciting is the news that JourneyQuest: Season One, the new webseries by Strowlers creators Ben Dobyns and Matt Vancil, will premiere at Strowler Nights on October 31st at 4 PM.

There are also day passes available for sale now for only $25 (Tickets are available HERE)

It's going to be an amazing weekend with two full nights of wonderful musical performances, circus performers, fire spinning, dancers, vendors and masquerade costuming goodness!

The tentative schedule isn't on the website yet, but this is what it currently looks like:
